The quality is great! the lace is beautiful and perfectly laid; it’s incredibly flattering and elegant (which is not a word I use). I’m flat chested, but because the dress is form fitting, there is no extra fabric in the chest. It flows so beautifully and the ruffle around the waist??? SOOO CUTE AND FLATTERING. Another comment said “it’s tight and lose in all the right places” and that’s very accurate. I wanna get married in a dress from Blackwood Castle now.

I got this to wear for my bday this year as I share a bday with World Goth Day and every year I go all out! When it arrived, I wore this for date night bc I literally could NOT wait. Putting it on and seeing my husbands' reaction I immediately knew: THIS is absolutely 100% this years bday/World Goth Day dress, I chose VERY well! I absolutely CANNOT wait.

I’ve been having a hard time lately, so when my package arrived I left it sitting above the entryway bench for probably a couple weeks. I loved the cut of the dress online but wasn’t expecting a ton…we’ve all bought things from cheap places using thin, easily damaged fabric. Today, I finally opened the package. I took out the inner package for the black Lydia dress and realized for the first time it was much heavier than anything else like it I’ve had in the past. When I opened the final plastic and felt it, I’m pretty sure I made a sound out loud. It is LUXURIOUS. This dress is amazing. Fits perfect, flows beautiful, super comfortable, plenty of stretch and yet curve-hugging, pockets, a perfectly designed leg slit. Seriously surpassed all expectations. I can’t wait to wear it more this summer, and I will absolutely purchase more from Blackwood Castle. Also, I almost never take the time to write reviews, but this dress is that good.

I am absolutely in love with this dress, it makes me look stunning. The chest fits snuggly and is quite stretchy, so there's no feeling of discomfort. It's got a soft, satin feel to it. The skirt has a flow to it, I kept twirling around in it. This is going to be my most worn dress for the summer, it just feels so nice!

Honestly this might be the best dress I’ve ever purchased. It fits like a glove, hugs all the right places and hides the wrong ones lol, and while it’s all black, it’s totally not hot to wear. I live in SoCal where it’s so hot, and this was nice and light to wear while also being thick enough to not be sheer. My personal favorite part is the lace on the top, I just wish it had slightly more stretch to it, because it bunched with how big my chest is. Still, overall, 10/10 purchase
