The Lydia - Burgundy

I need about ten of these to live in all year long. I am hot-natured and live for winter, and this dress is a great layering piece for fall and winter. I can only imagine this getting a ton of wear in the spring and summer on its own!

I don’t know how to describe the material. It’s as comfortable as pajamas but not a nightgown (even though it is patterned after a vintage one). It’s soft and silky and has a lovely drape. I got a ton of compliments from random people who didn’t even know me.

I actually was attracted to this dress because, as a young goth who thrifted a bunch of my clothing, I wore an actual nightgown this same color and very similar shape/lace placement. I wore it as a summer dress and as a layering piece under corsets and longer jackets. So when I saw this, I was terribly excited to be able to replace it in a well-made version in my current size.

First time ordering from Blackwood castle and love the material, color and shape of the dress. Very happy with my purchase.

Super soft and comfortable. Can be dressed up or down. Made me feel amazing and is perfect in warm weather. Love how much stretch it has.

I’ve only had this dress for two weeks and I’ve already worn it 3 times! Absolutely perfect for the hot weather we have in the South. And as a bonus because of the spandex and nylon construction it’s been a perfect rehearsal dress for the show I’m in in.

It’s absolutely beautiful, comfy, and flattering. Hoping to get one in black if it doesn’t sell out by the time I can. I don’t want to wear anything but this dress. It’s the perfect dress.
