  • Cuffed sleeves with a ribbon tie back to allow for tightness adjustments

Crafted from richly textured fabric with an embroidered appearance, the Emily blends traditional gothic elements with vintage charm. The silhouette is long and structured, featuring an exaggerated satin collar, a gathered waist, and delicate buttons running down the front.

The sleeves are finished with button detailing at the opening and have been updated with ribbon ties at the back, replacing the previous satin cuff.

NOTE: If the satin collar shows light creasing from packaging, it can be easily smoothed with a low-heat iron.

Dream dress!

This dress is everything! The fit is perfect, and the details are so lovely. I reached out to Yasaman before ordering asking if there was any left with the satin cuff design, and Yasaman went out of her way to find one for me, I was thrilled when I recieved my dress in the mail! I love both designs but my heart was set on the satin cuff. Thank you so much!

A perfect gown

I am so happy I bought this dress. I ordered it to send off my dear mother who died in July and who was the biggest supporter of my gothness, a surrogate mother to all my spooky friends, and an educator and mentor to so many wonderful freaks. It was the middle of summer and insanely hot on the day of her funeral and I felt comfortable and cool in the Emily the whole time, even though my heart was heavy. Wearing it was perfectly melancholic and it felt like the perfect garment to honour her with. Yasaman was incredibly helpful and kind with answering my questions before I ordered and the delivery arrived super quickly. I look forward to my next Blackwood garment, hopefully under truly joyous circumstances next!

Ok, so this is not their fault, but my order was 5 days later than I was told it would be. I live in America, and it sat in the Netherlands for nearly a week. It was frustrating, however, I finally got my dress today! I love it so mucb! The sleeves are pretty tight, so I am considering having them altered. I cannot wait until the Fall so I can wear this gorgeous dress! I also purchased the leather gloves pictured and they are gorgeous, too! I will be a customer from now on! Thank you!
